We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to join the Revenues and Welfare Services team as a Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering vital frontline services to residents, overseeing the administration of council tax, business rates, invoice recovery, and welfare support, while contributing to the continued success of a high-performing service.
The position offers flexible, hybrid working, combining time in the office with remote working to support both effective service delivery and a healthy work-life balance.
As Team Leader, you will be instrumental in leading and developing your team, ensuring high standards of performance, compliance with legislative requirements, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service and financial sustainability.
This role is ideal for candidates who already hold the IRRV Technician (Level 3) qualification in Council Tax and Welfare/Benefits. However, we also welcome applications from individuals who are looking to progress their career, as support and training can be provided to achieve this qualification.
