The Fleet Maintenance Agent (Planner) is responsible for the proactive scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance activity across the commercial fleet in the UK. You ensure vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer schedules and legal requirements, minimising downtime and keeping the fleet fully operational and compliant.
Your Role at SIXT
- You monitor fleet management systems to identify upcoming service intervals and MOT due dates.
- You proactively schedule and book maintenance appointments with approved garages and service centres.
- You send advance notifications and manage vehicle collections, deliveries, and courtesy vehicle arrangements.
- You raise purchase orders and verify job completion and invoices against work performed.
- You actively monitor compliance alerts and elevate risks to the Maintenance Manager.
- You build effective supplier relationships and support breakdown response during peak demand.
