Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a well-established, award-winning travel business who are recruiting a Senior Tour Organiser to join their tours team.

The Role:

As Senior Tour Organiser, you will take ownership of end to end tour delivery, managing bespoke European cultural itineraries from initial enquiry through to final on-the-ground execution for a range of international client groups, while working closely with overseas suppliers and stakeholders. The role also includes tour leading, full financial responsibility for your programmes, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality client experience throughout.

You Will Have:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in organising special interest / cultural tours to Europe
  • Strong background in tour operations and/or tour leading
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex itineraries
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, including experience with US clients
  • Experience working with European suppliers and ground agents
  • Working knowledge of at least one European language
  • Art History background and/or strong interest in gardens
