Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading Tour Operator who, due to a busy period of growth, are looking for an experienced Group Travel Coordinator to join their operations team. This is a hybrid role following an initial office based training period, with 2-3 days per week expected in the office and the rest of the time you can work from home.

The Role:

As Group Travel Coordinator, you'll be the main point of contact for group leaders, guiding them from initial booking through to departure. You'll be responsible for crafting detailed itineraries, liaising with suppliers and accommodation providers, and ensuring every aspect of the trip runs smoothly.

You Will Have:

  • 2+ years' experience in group travel, sports tours, or educational travel coordination (essential)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with clients and suppliers
  • Proven ability to handle multiple bookings and working to tight deadlines
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently

Additional Info:

  • Salary: £28,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working model with 2-3 days office based per week after initial training period
  • Monday to Friday role (out-of-hours rota during peak season with additional pay)
  • Immediate start preferred
