Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a well-established independent travel agency with a loyal client base and a strong local presence. They are now looking for a Travel Consultant to join their growing team.

The Role:

As Travel Consultant, you\’ll be the go-to expert for crafting bespoke holidays and travel experiences. You\’ll be based across two Kent branches, often working independently in a small office environment, so confidence to work on your own and access to your own transport is essential.

You Will Have:

• 2+ years\’ experience in the travel industry, ideally in a customer facing sales role

• Strong destination knowledge and experience using booking systems

• Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets

• Excellent communication, rapport-building, and client care skills

• A proactive approach

• A passion for travel and creating memorable experiences

• Willingness to attend networking events, trade shows and fam trips

Additional Info:

• Salary £23-30,000 (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission (OTE £30k+ year one)

• 35 hour work week/office hours 9:00-5:00 or 9:30 to 5:30

• Saturday working – 2 days required per month ib which you will get a day off in lieu
