Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a luxury travel business who are recruiting an Australasia Travel Specialist to join their team.
The Role: As Australasia Travel Specialist you will design and sell bespoke, experiential holidays with a focus on Australasia, working across three luxury brands. You will use your destination knowledge and sales expertise to convert enquiries into tailored itineraries, deliver exceptional client service, and build long-term relationships. You will collaborate with Long-Haul Product Managers to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and represent the brands as a trusted advisor for high-end clients.
You Will Have:
- Proven experience in long-haul sales, ideally luxury or tailor-made travel
- Extensive knowledge of Australasia destinations, gained through travel, living, or sales experience
- GDS experience, ideally Amadeus
- Commercial awareness and strong sales acumen
- Confident and professional manner, able to build trust and loyalty with clients
- Passion for travel and delivering outstanding client experiences
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
Additional Info:
- Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
- Hybrid working model either 2 days per week in the London office or fully remote with 1 day in the office per month
- Hours are 8.30am-7.00pm on shift pattern (37.5 hours per week) plus one Saturday per month
