Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a multi award-winning boutique events business who are recruiting an Event Operations Manager to join their team.

The Role:

As Event Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing the smooth delivery of overseas events, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure a high-quality experience from start to finish. This is a senior, hands-on position where you'll also lead and mentor a team, drive operational improvements, and help maintain exceptional service standards in a fast-paced environment.

You Will Have:

  • 4-5+ years' experience in travel, events, or operational roles (minimum 2 years in a senior/managerial position)
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong background in luxury, events, or high-end service environments
  • Experience dealing with overseas suppliers
  • Strong negotiation experience and project management skills
  • Confidence using systems, CRM platforms, and online tools
  • A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence a team
