Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with a small yet hugely successful operator in the educational and sports travel sector, who, due to continued success, are looking for an Executive Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

This is an EA role with a difference - you’ll be the backbone of the business, supporting the Managing Director across all aspects of the company, including finance. You’ll also support the sales team, help ensure tours run smoothly, liaise with suppliers, arrange events, assist with marketing activity, provide reports for the MD, and handle any ad hoc duties that arise, making this a varied role requiring excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.

Requirements

  • Travel industry experience (highly desirable)
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment, especially during high season
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time

Additional information

  • Based in Essex
  • Ideally fully office based, but will consider hybrid if the applicant is near the office
  • Salary is up to £35,000, plus a £5,000 bonus
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday - 9am to 5:30pm, with the occasional weekend when required
