Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic school travel company who specialise in educational tours, ski trips and group travel experiences. They are looking for an experienced Educational Travel Account Manager to join their growing sales team.

The Role:

As an Educational Travel Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while managing a portfolio of school and educational travel clients. You will build long-term relationships with schools, drive repeat business and referrals, and work closely with internal teams to ensure every trip is delivered seamlessly from enquiry through to travel.

You Will Have:

  • Previous experience in account management, sales or client relationship management within school travel, tourism or education.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process.
  • Strong sales and objection-handling skills with a proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Experience working with CRM and reservation systems.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage with schools, teachers and group leaders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work within margin guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities.
  • A genuine passion for travel and creating exceptional group travel experiences.
  • A full UK driving licence.
