We are currently seeking a Solutions Design Engineer within our UK office. About the Company GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group is one of the leading suppliers of automated conveying and material handling systems and is now over 70 years old. Gebhardt Intralogistics UK Limited, based in Nottingham, UK, and itself over 30 years old, has been part of the Gebhardt group since 2014. GEBHARDT has been developing tailor-made solutions - from concept through to complete implementation - in the areas of unit load conveying, sorting technology, automated storage and retrieval systems, including controls, warehouse management systems and IT integration. About the Role The role would sit within the small but expanding solutions design team, and will offer a high level of exposure to large scale automation projects with household name companies. The company and the automation sector are both growing in the UK, so this is a great opportunity to grow with a company and move forward with us bringing new innovations to market. Responsibilities Solution Development Analyse customer operations, processes, and business requirements. Design innovative warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions tailored to customer needs. Develop system concepts incorporating conveyors, ASRS, robotics, sortation systems, AMRs, goods-to-person systems, and software solutions. Evaluate alternative concepts and recommend optimal solutions based on technical and commercial criteria. Data Analysis
