Shifts: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 17:00 – £12.30
Monday to Friday 11:00 to 20:00 – £12.85
Sunday to Thursday 21:00 to 06:00 – £13.00
Join Our Logistics Team – Outdoor Forklift Work
We\’re hiring to support busy yard operations at our logistics site in Swaffham. This is a hands-on, physical role working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, loading and unloading HGVs and managing pallet movements across the yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Counterbalance forklift trucks in the yard
- Load and unload trailers and lorries efficiently
- Move pallets and goods between storage and dispatch areas
- Perform daily equipment checks and report defects
- Communicate with drivers and warehouse teams to maintain workflow
- Keep the yard clean, safe, and organised at all times
- Comply with all health & safety and site procedures
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance forklift license (RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited)
- Experience operating forklifts in outdoor or yard environments
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions (PPE provided)
- Strong awareness of site safety, particularly around HGVs and pedestrians
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Flexibility with shift patterns and occasional overtime
