The role:
Reporting into our Category Manager, the aim of this role is to support the implementation and evolution of the category management function, ensuring best practices are embedded across the business.
The main responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Organise, analyse, and interpret multiple data sources to generate actionable insights. Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate data management systems.
- Market Mapping & Audits: Conduct audits on promotions, pricing, and space allocation to identify opportunities and drive category growth.
- Retailer Partnerships: Assist in building strong relationships with retail partners, supporting joint business planning and category initiatives, with the opportunity to develop into a customer facing role over time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and NPD teams to align category strategies with broader business objectives and influence business direction.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a champion for our brands, ensuring category recommendations reflect brand positioning and growth ambitions.
