This role is integral to our events strategy, and therefore our impact on our overall marketing goals and strategy. By being curious to continually innovate in this space to take our events to the next level, you’ll help drive our lead generation and build our brand awareness.
You’ll have responsibility for delivering, scaling and influencing the events strategy which means you’ll have the autonomy to deliver international events, tradeshows and virtual events. You’ll be one of the key drivers in delivering a comprehensive and impactful event experience, owning and managing all aspects of event production including: event delivery, defining target audiences, creating follow-up plans, and success tracking.
You’ll need to work across the business and talk directly to the Salesforce community. You’ll be confident and comfortable communicating with different audiences, across different channels and building strong relationships. You’ll care about the details, we’re meticulous planners who work alongside our sales and customer success teams, delivering events that delight the community.
What you’ll achieve
- Drive leads through great event delivery.
- Build our presence in the Salesforce community through supporting the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce and Gearset events.
- Learn from, and share your experience with, a great team from a wide range of backgrounds in a feedback driven culture where you can do your best work.
- Write compelling messages for different audience segments, including promotional content for any event web pages, print marketing materials, as well post-event activities.
- Establish a data-driven approach to strategic and tactical decision making.
- Lead and manage events on the ground, you’ll be problem-solving, directing event set-up, and communicating confidently with staff and crew.
About you
- You have a proven track record of delivering B2B event marketing plans that successfully contribute to lead generation goals.
- While experience in the SaaS or software space is ideal, we value transferable skills from high-growth environments.
- You bring a balanced background in both event logistics and broader marketing strategy, ensuring every event aligns with company-wide goals.
- You thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and enjoy working across different departments with a diverse group of people.
- You are committed to continuous improvement and feel at home in a feedback-driven culture where constructive insights help everyone produce their best work.
- You approach your work with a commercial mindset and a strategic outlook, ensuring every tactical decision is backed by data.
- Happy to travel as needed across North America and Europe.

- Salary is £35k - £45k (depending on experience).
- This is a full time opportunity, working Monday to Friday with the option of flexible home working (for most of us that looks like 2-3 days a week in the office).
