Industrial Electrician

A leading engineering and industrial services business is looking to recruit an Industrial Electrician to support a major heavy industrial engineering project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with a strong industrial background, looking to work on a large-scale engineering project within a demanding site environment.

The Role

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical installation, testing and maintenance activities across the project, working closely with the wider engineering and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out industrial electrical installation, wiring, containment and termination works.
  • Install and connect electrical equipment, machinery and associated systems.
  • Complete electrical testing, inspection and fault-finding as required.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
  • Work alongside mechanical, engineering and construction teams to coordinate site activities.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications, RAMS and relevant health & safety requirements.

About You

The ideal candidate will have

  • Proven experience working as an Industrial Electrician, ideally within heavy industrial, manufacturing, engineering or similar environments.
  • A valid ECS card and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Own PPE suitable for working on an industrial construction site.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical installation and safe working practices.
  • Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience working on large-scale engineering or industrial projects.
  • Good communication skills and a strong commitment to health and safety.
