This is a senior-level position for someone who is confident working across both delivery and pre-construction, shaping the commissioning approach, supporting design development, and guiding a small team across clean water projects within the Affinity Water region. You will be joining a leading contractor delivering a major AMP8 clean water programme where your input will directly influence design, delivery, and successful handover.

The Role

You will work closely with the Commissioning Manager, providing leadership and technical oversight across multiple projects. From writing commissioning plans and programmes to supporting the pre-construction phase, you will be the go-to person for all things MEICA commissioning.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of commissioning activities
  • Providing commissioning input during pre-construction and design development
  • Supporting documentation production including plans, procedures and test sheets
  • Acting as a key interface between the client, design, and delivery teams
  • Providing technical support to procurement and ensuring supply chain readiness
  • Overseeing site commissioning teams, offering guidance and support
