In this role, you will support the mechanical design function across their Anglian Water frameworks and help to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Duties for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Develop detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for mechanical works.
- Providing technical input on a daily basis to contribute to the team of engineers and technicians.
- Ensure that the design output meets the agreed scope of work, as well as the budgets and timescales.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to meet project requirements and add value to the client.
- Attend design review meetings to monitor progress.
Qualifications/Experience for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:
- HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working within water or similar process-driven environment
- Contractual and commercial knowledge
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Chartered Engineer or working towards this (desirable)
