Are you an experienced Senior Site Engineer looking for your next challenge on a major reservoir and water infrastructure project? We are recruiting for a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a significant reservoir improvement / water infrastructure scheme, offering long-term work and career progression opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer with a strong background in heavy civils, water, infrastructure, earthworks, reinforced concrete and major projects.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing engineering activities across the reservoir project
- Managing and reviewing setting out activities
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, WPPs and QA documentation
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and specification
- Managing subcontractors and site teams
- Liaising with Site Agents, Project Managers and client representatives
- Managing temporary works coordination requirements
- Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries
- Supporting planning and sequencing of works
- Maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Reservoir, water, highways, flood defence, utilities or heavy civils experience desirable
- Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and infrastructure delivery
- Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS / SSSTS beneficial
- Temporary Works knowledge advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Reservoir upgrades or heavy earthworks projects
- Water treatment or AMP framework experience
- NEC contract awareness
- Environmental Agency or water sector project experience
- Heavy civils contractor background
- Long-term project pipeline
