An established Tier 1 contractor operating within the UK water sector is looking to appoint an experienced MEICA Supervisor to oversee installation and commissioning activities across a range of water and wastewater treatment projects. Applications are welcomed from candidates with either a Mechanical or Electrical bias who have a strong track record supervising MEICA works in live operational environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day MEICA installation activities on site.
- Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
- Support commissioning and testing activities.
- Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
- Liaise with project engineers, site managers, and client representatives.
- Maintain accurate site records and progress updates.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience supervising MEICA works within the water industry.
- Mechanical or Electrical trade background.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts.
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
- CSCS card and relevant industry certifications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
