Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a passion for the water industry? We’re looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our Client, helping to maintain critical infrastructure that keeps water flowing across the region.

About the Role:

In this hands-on position, you'll carry out fault finding, repairs, and planned maintenance on equipment and vital components in water and wastewater treatment processes.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 40-hour week
  • Overtime:
  • Weekdays: Time and a half
  • Weekends / Emergency call-outs after 6 PM: Double time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis on water treatment assets
  • Support reliability and uptime of equipment crucial to water quality and distribution
  • Keep accurate service reports and adhere to all health & safety regulations
  • Build positive relationships with clients in the water sector

Ideal Candidate:

  • Completed a full mechanical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Background in mechanical servicing within the water, utilities, or process plant industry
  • Confident in fault finding and preventative maintenance
  • Eager to learn and develop within a specialist sector
