Role: Marine Contracts Manager

Location: Jersey, Channel Islands

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Package

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Project Manager to take full responsibility for multiple marine civil engineering projects. This role involves leading a team of engineers, foremen, and direct labour while managing projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee projects ranging from minor works to £1-2m, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage project communications.
  3. Develop and approve risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  4. Utilize Microsoft Project for contract scheduling and resource planning.
  5. Lead pricing and cost control efforts, including direct negotiations with clients and suppliers.
  6. Be a key stakeholder from initial design phase to handover.
  7. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their development.
