A leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major water and wastewater projects is looking for Planners and Senior Planners to join their United Utilities framework. Working across the full project lifecycle, from design through to construction and commissioning, you will develop and manage project programmes, supporting the successful delivery of major water and wastewater engineering projects. If you have experience planning construction or engineering projects and are proficient in Primavera P6, this is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term framework with clear career progression.

Duties for Planner / Senior Planner
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes across the full project lifecycle
- Ensure schedules reflect project scope, resource requirements, and sequencing logic
- Work closely with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and programme impacts
- Review and challenge subcontractor and supply chain programmes to ensure alignment with the integrated master schedule
- Maintain baseline programmes in accordance with planning procedures and governance requirements
- Produce programme updates, progress reports, and client-facing narratives
- Carry out schedule quality checks to maintain programme accuracy and integrity
- Support project teams with planning advice, mitigation strategies, and programme recovery where required
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Planner, Project Planner, Planning Engineer, or Senior Planner within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or water sectors
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and the full project lifecycle
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
