We are currently recruiting for a MEICA Supervisor to join a growing delivery team working on clean water infrastructure projects within the UK water industry. This role will suit someone with a strong background in MEICA installation, maintenance or site supervision who is confident leading site teams and coordinating mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control activities on live operational water sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with client specifications, programme requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating daily MEICA activities across clean water sites
- Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of RAMS, permits and safe systems of work
- Reviewing drawings, work packs, specifications and technical documentation
- Supervising the installation, testing and commissioning of pumps, MCCs, ICA systems, telemetry and associated assets
- Ensuring inspection records, ITPs, check sheets and quality documentation are completed accurately
- Maintaining redline drawings and supporting project handover documentation
- Liaising with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Operations teams and external contractors
- Providing regular progress updates, programme feedback and resource requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the UK water industry
- Strong MEICA or EICA background within water, utilities or process environments
- Knowledge of WIMES standards and water industry specifications
- Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical issues
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition BS7671
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Qualifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- Understanding of CDM Regulations
