A leading Tier 1 contractor has secured a major AMP8 water scheme in the Oxfordshire region and is looking for a MEICA Lead to take ownership of delivery across a complex live project environment. They’re looking for someone who can do more than sit in progress meetings and update spreadsheets. They need somebody who understands how MEICA packages actually come together on site and someone comfortable managing technical issues, driving subcontractors, coordinating commissioning activities, and keeping momentum when programmes tighten up.
You’ll be heavily involved from delivery through to completion, working alongside senior operational teams on one of the region’s key AMP8 projects.
The RoleYou’ll lead the MEICA function across a major water infrastructure project, managing interfaces across mechanical, electrical, ICA, civils, commissioning, and supply chain teams. This is a hands-on project leadership role with real autonomy and visibility.
Responsibilities:- Leading MEICA delivery on a major live project
- Managing subcontractors, specialist suppliers, and installation teams
- Driving programme, procurement, and commissioning activities
- Coordinating across design, civils, and operational stakeholders
- Identifying risks early and keeping delivery moving
- Maintaining high standards around safety, quality, and compliance
- Acting as a key technical and delivery contact for the client team

- MEICA Manager
- Senior MEICA Engineer
- Electrical Project Manager
- Mechanical Project Manager
- Delivery Manager with strong MEICA experience
What matters is your ability to lead from the front and manage complex project interfaces confidently.
Ideal Background:- Strong water sector experience (clean or wastewater)
- Mechanical, Electrical, or ICA background
- Experience delivering projects through installation & commissioning
- Strong understanding of programme and subcontractor management
- Able to operate comfortably within a Tier 1 delivery environment
- SMSTS / CSCS / Full UK Driving Licence
