Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician (Water Industry Experience) – Avonmouth, Bristol Hours: 45 hours per week The Role: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician with a proven background in the water industry to join a flagship project for Wessex Water in Avonmouth. Key Responsibilities: * Installation of electrical cable laddering and containment systems, including ladder rack, tray, trunking and conduit * MCC (Motor Control Centre) works, including positioning, fixing, glanding and termination * Cable pulling, dressing and securing to specification and drawings * Work from electrical drawings, site specifications, and WIMES standards * Support site teams on installation, upgrades, and maintenance works * Ensure safe working practices and compliance with water industry standards Requirements: * Experience working on water industry projects (clean or wastewater) * ECS Gold Card * WIMES knowledge and ability to work from detailed electrical drawings * Flexibility to travel – role involves working away with accommodation covered * Positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work within site teams
