We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a growing engineering contractor delivering projects across the water and industrial sectors. This role will suit someone with a strong engineering background who is confident managing projects from initial survey and quotation stages through to delivery, commissioning and client handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple site-based projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out site surveys and liaising directly with clients regarding new and existing project requirements
- Producing technical scopes and gathering site information including photographs and survey details
- Supporting project pricing through supplier and subcontractor liaison
- Coordinating procurement of materials and specialist subcontract services
- Preparing project documentation including RAMS and health & safety paperwork
- Managing site activities and ensuring works are completed in line with company and client procedures
- Attending client meetings and supporting project coordination throughout delivery
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with approved RAMS and site standards
- Supporting commissioning activities and QA documentation where required
- Liaising with internal workshop and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience within a Project Manager or similar delivery role
- Engineering or industrial background, ideally within water, utilities or process environments
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate site activities effectively
- Full UK driving licence

- Experience working within industrial or utility environments
