A leading engineering consultancy providing design, delivery, and specialist support to the water industry is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer / Senior EICA Design Engineer. You will work closely with the Project Managers and Design Leads to produce high-quality designs that meet the scope of work. Duties for Senior Electrical/EICA Design Engineer:
- Develop detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for electrical works (LV distribution, controls, MCCs, cabling, automation, and instrumentation).
- Providing technical input on a daily basis to contribute to the team of engineers and technicians.
- Ensure that the design output meets the agreed scope of work, as well as the budgets and timescales.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to meet project requirements and add value to the client.
- Attend design review meetings to monitor progress.
Qualifications/Experience for Senior Electrical/EICA Design Engineer:
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience working within water or similar process-driven environment.
- Contractual and commercial knowledge.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
