You will be responsible for planning and managing project schedules across the full project lifecycle, from design through to construction and commissioning, working on large-scale water and wastewater engineering projects.

Duties for Senior Planner

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes across the full project lifecycle
  • Ensure schedules reflect full project scope, including accurate resource and sequencing logic
  • Work closely with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and programme impacts
  • Review and challenge supply chain programmes to ensure alignment with the integrated master schedule
  • Maintain baseline programmes in line with planning procedures and governance requirements
  • Produce clear programme updates and narrative reports for internal and client submissions
  • Carry out regular schedule quality checks to ensure accuracy, logic, and integrity
  • Support project teams with planning advice and mitigation strategies where required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner or Senior Planner within the construction, engineering or water industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Experience delivering programme planning on infrastructure, utilities, or engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle delivery
