We are currently looking for an Electrical AP / Working Electrician to support delivery on a wastewater treatment works project. This role will suit someone who can operate as a hands-on electrician day-to-day, but is also confident stepping into an Authorised Person (AP) capacity when required to support peak workload periods.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and upgrade works on wastewater treatment assets
- Acting as Electrical AP when required including isolations, permits and ensuring safe systems of work
- Supporting site teams with electrical fault finding, testing and commissioning activities
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with site procedures, RAMS and industry standards
- Liaising with site management, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate electrical activities
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance across site
Must have:
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- ECS Gold Card or ECS Site Manager Card
- Proven Authorised Person (AP) experience
- Strong industrial electrical experience (ideally within water/wastewater environments)
Preferred / beneficial:
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- PLASMA
- IPAF
- Familiarity with WIMES standards
