GRS are in search for an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of major clean and wastewater infrastructure projects across the South East, working for a leading Tier 1 contractor on long-term frameworks (AMP7 / AMP8).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver electrical engineering packages across MEICA-focused water projects (pumping stations, treatment works, reservoirs)
  • Support the full lifecycle: design reviews, technical submittals, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning
  • Oversee subcontractor activity, site coordination, and compliance with electrical standards
  • Liaise with clients (e.g. Southern Water, Thames Water), design consultants, and internal delivery teams
  • Ensure EHS, quality, and programme objectives are met

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering background with experience in the water/utilities or MEICA sector
  • Knowledge of BS7671, IEE Wiring Regulations, LV panels, motor control centres, and ICA systems
  • Proven experience working for or with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different sites
  • CSCS/ECS & SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
