We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major capital projects across the UK Water Industry. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting the delivery of clean and wastewater infrastructure projects, with works taking place across multiple sites throughout the South East.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of electrical and ICA packages from design through to installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Managing electrical and ICA elements of water industry projects
  • Coordinating site installation activities and subcontractors
  • Reviewing electrical and instrumentation designs and technical documentation
  • Producing and reviewing RAMS, work packages and project documentation
  • Managing procurement of electrical equipment and materials
  • Liaising with clients, designers, commissioning teams and site personnel
  • Supporting testing, commissioning and project handover activities
  • Monitoring project progress, programme and quality requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Project Engineer within the water industry
  • Strong electrical background with good ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) knowledge
  • Experience delivering MEICA projects on water or wastewater treatment sites
  • Familiarity with commissioning, testing and handover processes
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across live operational environments
  • Full UK driving licence
