Salary/Rate: Competitive salary (£45,000 - £50,000) or day rate (DOE)
GRS are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of high-value MEICA water projects across the South East. You will be working with a Tier 1 contractor delivering major infrastructure upgrades for UK water authorities as part of long-term capital delivery programmes (e.g. AMP8).
Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical installation works across water treatment and pumping station projects
- Manage electrical subcontractors and site operatives to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
- Oversee installation of LV power, MCCs, control panels, instrumentation, and cable containment systems
- Ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
- Coordinate with mechanical, ICA, and commissioning teams to ensure integrated MEICA delivery
- Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities
Requirements:
- Electrical background with experience supervising installation works within water or wastewater environments
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, MCC installations, containment, and industrial cabling
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams on infrastructure or utility projects
- ECS/CSCS card required, with SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
- Water hygiene and previous experience on water industry frameworks desirable
