Geared Consulting Partnerships is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Structural Engineering intern to join our growing consultancy on a casual or part time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or graduate looking to gain hands-on experience within the Structural Engineering industry while being mentored directly by experienced engineers.
About the Role
The successful candidate will assist our team with a variety of desktop and site-based tasks, gaining practical exposure to real projects across London and the surrounding areas. The role will be predominantly remote working, with the exception of attending site inspections and meetings when required.
Typical duties may include:
- Attending site inspections alongside structural engineers
- Issuing party wall notices
- Assisting with Schedule of Condition inspections
- Preparing and formatting reports and photographic records
What We Are Looking For
- Interest in structural engineering or surveying
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and detail oriented
- Professional and willing to learn
- Ability to travel to site inspections when required
Experience is not essential as training and mentorship will be provided.
