We're currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our Distribution Centre team in Clifton Moor, York. These positions are offered on a fixed-term contract until January 2027. The reason for the fixed-term appointment is to cover a period of increased seasonal demand. Specifically, volumes within the Warehouse department increase during the months of October to December and additional labour is required during this period. All fixed-term contracts are for a maximum period of 6 months. Whether you have previous warehouse experience or are looking for a new opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Working as part of a dedicated warehouse team, you'll support a variety of operational tasks within our distribution centre. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, unloading and storing incoming stock
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
  • Processing orders for customers across the UK and internationally
  • Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment
  • Supporting wider warehouse operations as required

No previous experience? No problem. Full training will be provided across all warehouse functions to help you succeed in your role.

Working Hours: This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days, with a rotating shift pattern.

Week 1 – Early Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm / 8:00am – 4:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Week 2 – Late Shift: Monday to Friday: 2:30pm – 11:00pm, Sunday: 8:30am – 5:00pm. Flexibility to work both shift patterns is essential.
