Your Part in the Performance

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our Finance team on a 3 month fixed term contract - an ideal opportunity for someone starting their career in accounts or seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced, growing business.

Based at our modern Holgate Park headquarters, you'll play a key role in supporting the Finance team and helping to ensure our financial operations run efficiently.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and make a real impact from day one.

What you’ll do

  • Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and good received notes (3-way matching)
  • Check for errors, duplicates, or discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payments (bank transfers, checks, etc.)
  • Track due dates to avoid late fees or penalties and maximise settlement discounts
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices and payments
  • Resolve disputes or discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor accounts and details
  • Reconcile supplier statements with company records
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

What you’ll bring

  • Some finance/administration experience or a strong desire to start a career in accounts
  • Interest or qualification in a numerical subject
  • Good Excel and MS Office skills
  • Willingness to learn accounting systems
  • Strong accuracy, organisation, and analytical skills
  • A proactive approach and readiness to grow in a dynamic environment
  • European supplier experience is a bonus
