Your Part in the Performance
We're looking for a motivated individual to join our Finance team on a 3 month fixed term contract - an ideal opportunity for someone starting their career in accounts or seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced, growing business.
Based at our modern Holgate Park headquarters, you'll play a key role in supporting the Finance team and helping to ensure our financial operations run efficiently.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and make a real impact from day one.
What you’ll do
- Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices
- Match invoices with purchase orders and good received notes (3-way matching)
- Check for errors, duplicates, or discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments (bank transfers, checks, etc.)
- Track due dates to avoid late fees or penalties and maximise settlement discounts
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices and payments
- Resolve disputes or discrepancies
- Maintain vendor accounts and details
- Reconcile supplier statements with company records
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
What you’ll bring
- Some finance/administration experience or a strong desire to start a career in accounts
- Interest or qualification in a numerical subject
- Good Excel and MS Office skills
- Willingness to learn accounting systems
- Strong accuracy, organisation, and analytical skills
- A proactive approach and readiness to grow in a dynamic environment
- European supplier experience is a bonus
