As Gear4music continues to grow, we need a confident leader to help keep our warehouse hitting all the right notes.
Your role
Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager, you will lead a shift team of around 20 operatives (up to 50 at peak), ensuring smooth, safe and efficient operations. Your day to day will include:
- Lead and develop a warehouse shift team
- Ensure operational targets and customer needs are met
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and compliance
- Support new starters and act as the first point of contact on shift
- Drive continuous improvement and lead by example
Your Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse people management experience
- Strong communication and decision‑making skills
- Good numeracy, literacy and data‑analysis skills
- Confidence using computer systems
- Solid Health & Safety knowledge (Risk Assessments, COSHH, SOPs)
- Reliable, organised and calm under pressure
- Hands‑on, flexible and team‑focused
Shift Pattern
Rotating early and late shifts across a 7‑day operation (5 days out of 7). Overtime available during peak periods.
Early: 06:00–14:30 (Mon–Fri) + Sat 08:30–17:00
Late: 14:30–23:00 (Mon–Fri) + Sun 08:30–17:00 (5 days out of 7)
