As we continue to grow, we’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations and Project Manager to join us! This is a pivotal role supporting the effective day-to-day running of the Gear4music UK operation, while also leading projects that drive positive change across the business. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you’ll balance operational support with structured project delivery, ensuring all tasks are planned, prioritised and delivered effectively. This is a visible role that requires confident decision making, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while keeping project delivery on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as an escalation point for operational issues, service risks and site incidents
- Coordinating facilities activity including repairs, maintenance and refurbishment work
- Sourcing and managing quotes/tenders and coordinating contractor activity on site
- Managing supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with site rules
- Implementing practical solutions to new and existing business opportunities
- Leading projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring actions, timelines and outcomes are tracked
- Providing clear updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, performance and delivery against objectives
About You
- Proven experience in an operations, project management or delivery-focused role within a fast-paced environment
- Confident managing third-party suppliers, contractors and facilities-related activity
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to adapt quickly when priorities change
- Experience delivering projects and improvements across multiple teams and stakeholders
- A practical, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and drive accountability
