Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and a few emails from customers.
  • Provide friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments and related products, including audio‑visual equipment.
  • Resolve challenging customer enquiries and escalate where appropriate.
  • Become a valued member of the specialist Customer Service team.

Qualifications

  • Multilingual – excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Czech, Slovenian or Slovakian.
  • Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Some experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment (highly desirable).
  • Reliable and committed to providing first‑class advice and service.
  • Highly communicative.
  • Interest and appreciation of music (desired).

Position Details

  • Location: Head office in York.
  • Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Sunday working.
