As the way customers discover and engage with music products continues to evolve, influencer and creator‑led content plays an increasingly important role in driving awareness, consideration, and purchase. This role will be central to identifying, building, and managing relationships with influencers and content creators who authentically connect with our audience across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. Working closely with our social media, brand, and e‑commerce teams, you will support the planning and execution of influencer campaigns across Gear4music's portfolio of brands. You'll help ensure every partnership delivers genuine value, both for the creator and for the business, while contributing to a scalable, best‑in‑class influencer programme.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and recruit influencers and content creators across music, lifestyle, and adjacent verticals who align with Gear4music's brands and audience.
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with influencers, creators, and their management, acting as a key point of contact throughout campaign lifecycles.
- Support the planning, briefing, and execution of influencer campaigns across multiple brands and product categories, ensuring content is delivered on time, on brief, and on budget.
- Coordinate product seeding, gifting, and sample logistics, working with internal teams to ensure a smooth creator experience.
- Monitor and report on influencer campaign performance, tracking key metrics such as reach, engagement, referral traffic, and revenue impact.
- Manage influencer budgets and ensure all partnerships deliver a strong return on investment.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in the creator economy, identifying new platforms, formats, and partnership opportunities that could benefit the business.
- Ensure all influencer activity is compliant with relevant regulations and guidelines, including ASA and CMA requirements for disclosure and transparency.
- Maintain and develop the influencer database, ensuring accurate records of contacts, contracts, content deliverables, and performance data.
- Collaborate with social media, content, and brand teams to align influencer activity with wider marketing campaigns and product launches.
Qualifications
- Experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing, or a related field.
- A genuine understanding of the creator economy and how influencers drive engagement and purchase decisions, particularly within music or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and relationships simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, comfortable engaging with creators, agencies, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with influencer platforms and tools (e.g. CreatorIQ, Grin, Modash, or similar).
- A data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse campaign performance and translate results into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of ASA, CMA, and FTC disclosure requirements for influencer partnerships.
- An active interest in social media platforms and content trends, with an understanding of what makes creator content resonate with audiences.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across marketing, e‑commerce, and brand teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Benefits

- Employee Assistance Programme, offering 24/7 caring & compassionate support across a wide range of areas.
- Access to 30 qualified Mental Health First Aiders across the business, demonstrating our commitment to prioritising mental health & wellbeing support as a 'Mindful Employer'.
