Gear4music, a leading retailer of musical instruments and equipment, is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team in Clifton Moor, York. As music enthusiasts, we're dedicated to providing an exceptional online shopping experience.
What You'll Do:
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a crucial role in our busy distribution centre, contributing to a great customer experience. Your responsibilities will include goods in, warehouse tasks, and dispatch duties.
Who You Are:
We're seeking individuals with previous warehouse experience who may have some machine driving experience (preferred but not essential). You will be computer/iPad literate and may have previous experience of using barcode scanners. You'll need good communication skills, be a strong team player, and have a reliable work ethic.
Useful Information:
Guaranteed 40-hour working week, including evenings and weekends on a rotating shift basis. This role will require the flexibility to work evenings and weekends, 40 hours per week for 5 out of the 7 days. The shifts rotate on a weekly basis, so please ensure you're able to commit to working both shift patterns.
- Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 / 08:00-16:30. 4 days between Monday and Friday plus Saturday 08:30 – 17:00.
- Late Shift: 14:30 – 23:00. 4 days between Monday and Friday plus Sunday 08:30 – 17:00.
