As part of the GÉANT Learning & Development (GLAD) team, you'll help create the conditions that enable continuous learning and professional growth across the organisation.

You'll develop your expertise as an L&D professional while gaining opportunities to build skills in facilitation, presenting, eLearning design and development, and programme delivery.
What You'll Do
Learning Delivery & Coordination

Support the design, development and delivery of internal learning activities and development programmes

Prepare learning materials, resources and participant communications
-
Provide support to facilitators and learners before, during and after learning activities

Coordinate learner registrations, joining instructions and post-session follow-up
-
Contribute to talent, mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organisation
Learner & Stakeholder Experience

Act as a key point of contact for learning-related enquiries and requests through the GLAD inbox

Build positive relationships with learners, facilitators and internal stakeholders
-
Help resolve operational issues and ensure learning activities run smoothly

Promote learning opportunities and encourage engagement across the organisation
Learning Operations & Systems
-
Maintain learning processes, guidance documents, workflows and operational procedures
-
Administer learning platforms, licences and user access, including eAcademy, O'Reilly, LinkedIn Learning and iHASCO
-
Manage learning resources, documentation, SharePoint sites, webpages and knowledge repositories
-
Support governance, compliance, audit and record-keeping requirements across learning activities
External Learning & Supplier Management

Coordinate externally delivered workshops, programmes and development activities
-
Act as the primary point of contact for learning suppliers, facilitators and external partners

Maintain records of approved providers and support onboarding and scheduling activities

Coordinate contracts, procurement processes and invoice administration
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Produce reports on learning participation, engagement and programme activity

Monitor mandatory training completion and support organisational compliance requirements

Maintain accurate learning records and programme documentation
-
Analyse learning data, feedback and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
-
Track actions arising from learner feedback and support ongoing enhancement of learning services
About You

Experience coordinating projects, programmes, events, services or activities involving multiple stakeholders

Strong administrative and organisational skills, including maintaining accurate records, documentation and processes

Confidence using a range of digital systems and tools to manage information and support daily operations

Clear and professional communication skills when working with internal and external stakeholders

Experience improving processes, solving operational challenges and identifying practical solutions

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

A proactive, customer-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience That Could Be Beneficial

Supporting learning, development, talent or people-related activities

Coordinating training sessions, workshops, events or facilitation activities

Facilitating virtual sessions using Zoom, Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms

Administering learning platforms, digital systems or online knowledge resources

Working with external suppliers, facilitators, training providers or service partners

Collecting, analysing or reporting on data, survey results or stakeholder feedback

Supporting procurement, contract administration or invoice processes

Using SharePoint, content management systems or knowledge repositories

Working within an international, membership-based or not-for-profit organisation

Experience with systems such as Moodle, O'Reilly, iHASCO or Power BI

Working Arrangements
The role follows our flexible-hybrid working model, with employees working flexibly between a remote and office environment.
There may also be occasional travel for meetings, events, project activity or stakeholder engagement, depending on the needs of the role.
