GEA Refrigeration (UK) Limited is a market leader in industrial heating and refrigeration technologies. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our sales team within the Heating and Refrigeration Compression Technologies division.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales relationships with existing third-party contractors and consultant customers, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage customer relationships and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers.
  • Prepare technically and commercially sound proposals, monitor progress, and conduct technical presentations.
  • Enter, administer, and report all leads and opportunities within our CRM system.
  • Travel within the UK as required, and attend appointments independently.
  • Work closely with the compression technologies team to identify opportunities and drive the business forward.
  • Communicate with our European technology centres in Germany and the Netherlands, travelling when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling technical products.
  • Experience in the refrigeration or HVAC industries (essential). Experience selling chillers and heat pumps is an advantage.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and partnership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Good business sense, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, yet also well in a team.
  • Strong IT, budget, and report-writing skills, proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM software.
  • Full driving licence.

Location: Based at any of our UK offices or work from home. Travel as required.
