Your responsibilities and tasks:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our team as an Engineering Maintenance Technician (Dual Discipline) at our Warrington site. This apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on experience alongside classroom-based learning, leading to a recognised qualification under the Skills England Apprenticeship Standard.
In this role, you will develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to maintain, repair, and optimise a range of mechanical and electrical equipment across our operations. You\’ll work with experienced engineers to support the safe and efficient running of the site.
Assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair faults on a wide variety of equipment and machinery.
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Carry out inspections and routine servicing to ensure equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, using our maintenance systems.
Follow health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to learn best practices and techniques.
Attend off-site training and complete all academic elements of the apprenticeship.
Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Maintenance pathway)
About You:
A strong interest in engineering and technical problem-solving.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above in Maths, English, and Science (preferred).
Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards training and development.
