We specialise in the installation, service, and maintenance of milking equipment, automation systems, and milk cooling solutions. Our team works closely with dairy producers to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and compliance.
Responsibilities
As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of all refrigeration systems on dairy farms, primarily focusing on Mueller milk cooling tanks, silos and associated plant.
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of bulk milk tanks and cooling systems
- Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration units and associated electrical systems
- Respond to on-site breakdowns quickly and efficiently
- Install new refrigeration units and upgrade existing systems as required
- Perform refrigerant handling in compliance with F-Gas regulations
- Maintain accurate records and complete service reports
- Provide technical support and advice to farmers and the DairyFlow team
- Participate in a shared on-call rota for emergency breakdowns
Qualifications
- Qualified Refrigeration Technician (NVQ Level2/3 or equivalent)
- F‑Gas certification
- Experience in agricultural, dairy, or commercial refrigeration (preferred)
- Strong fault‑finding and repair skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
