Senior IT Support Engineer – On‑Site Services
The role is based in Milton Keynes, with travel to other UK locations as required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure stable and reliable local IT operations across assigned sites
- Provide hands‑on technical support where an on‑site presence is required
- Act as the local IT On‑Site Services Consultant, representing Global IT to site management and users
- Coordinate effectively with the Service Desk, central IT teams and external service providers
- Support the implementation and adherence to IT standards, governance and security practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and operational processes
- Assist with incident resolution, infrastructure support and workplace services when local coordination is required
Qualifications
- Extensive experience working in IT support, infrastructure or workplace services
- Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, workplace technologies and network environments
- Experience working within structured IT service environments (ITIL knowledge beneficial)
- Ability to coordinate effectively between business users and central IT teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with local management and stakeholders
- Professional fluency in English
- Desirable: Experience working in manufacturing, industrial or multi‑site environments
- Desirable: Experience working with external IT service providers
