We support professional, resource‑efficient dairy farming with integrated technologies designed to improve productivity, animal welfare, and milk quality. Through GEA’s global dealer network, we provide a full‑service offering, including industry‑leading hygiene products and chemicals that promote optimal udder health and superior milk quality.

Responsibilities

  • Work hands‑on with advanced dairy systems, supporting farmers with essential equipment that keeps their operations running smoothly.
  • Visit farms and customer sites between 08:15 - 17:00, with time spent in the Holsworthy office when not on‑site.
  • Technical Service & Maintenance
    • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on Automatic (AMS) and Conventional Milking Systems (CMS).
    • Perform repairs, servicing, upgrades, and installations.
    • Support maintenance and installation of slurry handling and manure management systems.
    • Take part in a rota providing out‑of‑hours technical support across your region.
    • Complete service reports, record parts usage, and track time accurately.
    • Follow and promote best practices in safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Customer Service & Business Growth
    • Deliver excellent customer service.
    • Represent Venture Dairy Services professionally.
    • Build strong relationships with customers.

Profile / Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Comfortable using MS Office.
  • Experience as a Dairy Technician (desirable) OR a background in electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults.
  • Full UK Category B driving licence (endorsements must be declared).
  • Willingness to travel across the Southwest (and occasionally to the Channel Islands).
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in all weather conditions and farm environments.
