Job Description

1. Site management of warehouse
2. Management of all site documentation and governance
3. Ownership of inventory management system
4. Processing inbound and outbound deliveries
5. Producing reports and responding to information requests
6. Management and governance of tools and assets
7. Ordering consumables
8. Administering stock control and stock checks
9. Warehouse organization and structure
10. Meeting targets and deadlines set by management
11. Ensuring the site is kept clean and professional
12. Monitoring security and health and safety procedures
13. Maintaining site operations and enforcing company policies
14. Ensuring mandatory site maintenance is up-to-date
15. Resolving urgent issues proactively
16. Maintaining visibility on site
17. Managing site contractors

Knowledge and Experience

1. Proven experience as a site/stores team leader or manager
2. Expertise in site management procedures and best practices
3. Ability to implement process improvement initiatives
4. Strong knowledge of site KPIs
5. Hands-on experience with site management software and databases
6. Solid understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Formal Training/Qualifications

1. GCSEs in English and Maths
2. MHE training (desirable)
3. Passport to safety (desirable)
4. EHS accreditation (desirable)
5. Management of contractors (desirable)
