GE’s Power Conversion is responsible for the full wing-to-wing sourcing process for the assigned commodities and related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in formulating ‘Commodity Strategy’ based on historical data, future project’s demand, and other key indicators.
- Lead the execution of the local sourcing strategy in line with Global commodity strategy guidance; deliver a competitive advantage by driving the strategic supplier initiatives, selection, development, and consolidation to ensure optimal business performance.
- Execute across the purchase base, with full accountability for meeting deflation (savings), usage, cash and preferred supplier targets.
- Carry out in-depth cost breakdown analysis and negotiate lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Local.
