GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.
As the Services Naval Contract Lead you will manage sales opportunities within the Naval Services Maritime Systems Transformation (MaST) contract. The contract focuses on the availability of Royal Navy warships, streamlining the support and procurement of non-combat equipment. You will take ownership from enquiry, order receipt through to delivery, support the bid process ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage. Knowledge of electrical products and experience in marine procurement would be beneficial, as would being familiar with Naval inventory.
In This Role You Will Focus On:
- Processing RFQ’s through the bid process
- Proactively identify 3rd party equipment to satisfy RFQ requirements
- Proactively managing opportunities through the internal bid process
- Helping to develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings, in conjunction with the wider support team
- Planning and organising the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunities
- Liaising with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bids
- Some travel to customer meetings in the UK
