GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage Digital Technology organization is seeking a Sr. Staff SAP Finance & Projects Solution Lead with deep expertise in SAP ERP (ECC / S/4HANA) and project-centric business processes. This role leads end-to-end solution design and delivery across SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), PS (Project Systems), and SD (Sales and Distribution), partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality, standardized solutions and maintain core model documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong finance and projects domain knowledge, proven stakeholder influence, and experience driving business change at scale. The role also supports ERP convergence and the strategic SAP S/4HANA transformation roadmap, enabling standardization, simplification, and enterprise alignment across the segment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution design and delivery across SAP FICO, PS, and SD in support of finance and project-centric business processes.
  • Partner with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, assess options, and define high-quality functional solutions.
  • Drive standardization and alignment to core model principles across finance and project-centric processes.
  • Facilitate design workshops and translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation.
  • Maintain and update key core model artifacts, including blueprints, functional design specifications, test scenarios, and user documentation.
  • Provide functional leadership on cross-functional initiatives, ensuring solution integrity across business and system touchpoints.
  • Support testing, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and business change that enhance operational efficiency and solution value.
  • Influence stakeholders and support decision-making to resolve design issues, manage trade-offs, and drive consensus.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for finance and project-related SAP capabilities, providing guidance to project teams and business partners.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, with functional expertise across FICO, SD, and PS.
  • Solid understanding of core IT processes and delivery disciplines, including project management, agile delivery methodologies, solution architecture, security, and ITIL operations.
