Service Delivery Account Manager , you will play a key customer-facing role and act as single Point of Contact for daily operations.

You will be responsible for after-sales customer service and managing upgrades to installed bases of GE Vernova PCS equipment.

You will deliver top-tier services and commercial management of enquiries to our customers in industries such as battery energy storage, metals, oil & gas, FMCG, R&D.

Key responsibilities

  • Being the customer advocate and taking a lead role in dealings with multiple major industrial sector customers.
  • Managing the delivery of Long-Term Service Agreements including reactive and planned maintenance activities of GE Vernova equipment.
  • Resolving commercial, technical, and quality issues on multiple contractual arrangements.
  • Ensuring that all commercial procedures are followed together with development of new procedures and project management processes.
  • Registering, compiling, submitting, and negotiating extensions of time, extras to contract and other claims as appropriate.
  • Handling all day-to-day reporting, resourcing, and planning activities from service contract customers.
  • Liaising with management/project engineers/other departments to obtain technical, contractual, and financial solutions.
  • Carrying out project reviews using SAP to control projects, check progress, manage cost, identify deviations from plan, detect risk and forecasting.
  • On occasion, travel to customer sites mostly in the United Kingdom and Northern Europe, usually for periods of a few days.

Essential qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in a professional customer or account management role.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels for the purpose of presenting or liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • An understanding of key business financial procedures (invoicing/revenue recognition/debt management).
  • Possession of or ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
  • Valid passport and driver's license.

Nice to have

  • Solar Energy System, Energy Battery Storage, product knowledge and business process experience.
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce software.
  • An engineering degree or technical knowledge in areas such as mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, etc.

This role involves work for customers who manage critical infrastructure; based on customer requirements it will be necessary to carry out background checks and suitability assessments (UK BPSS clearance OR UK SC clearance) as part of the hiring process.
